WE ARE RUST & STARDUST
STARDUST
93% of our body is made from stardust. It’s composed of billions and billions of atoms. Roughly it’s a number 7 with 27 zeroes behind it, roughly, because if you shaved your legs today or plucked your eyebrows it might be a little less. Part of those atoms are hydrogen which is a big bang dust. Which is quiet impressive but not a stardust yet. Since stardust atoms are the heavier elements, the percentage of star mass in our body is much more impressive.
Combining scientific research on stardust, I am changing female perspective on her body image, through inspiring her to see herself as a cosmic being that is literally made of stars.
Venus in Fur
This painting is a part of a series, in which I explore psychological portraits of women in fiction though stardust. Inspired by the goddess of love, beauty, desire , sex, fertility, prosperity and victory, my Venus in Furs is a modern take on what a neo-feminist woman embraces.

Ophelia

She was a hopeless amorous. Not the kind that foolishly gives her heart away, but the one who finds love and beauty in everything. When She discovered she loved flowers, Ophelia learned each name, she knew the size and colour. It was truly amazing how deeply in love she was with them, but what was also truly amazing how easy she could pick them.
